A 1930’s property being extended at ground floor to the side and rear recently was further extended at first floor level.

The new extension was to be seen as a subtle change to the host or main building so that it would appear as if it had been built originally like this.

Cost was also important to the client to produce an affordable extension that would improve the poor thermal qualities of the existing building.

Re-roofing in a similar but cost effective plain tile alternative was used all over so the extension appears seamlessly integrated into the existing.
